Well, I finally did it  

Wasn't so sure for a while, ran a 14.02, and a 14.001, then I had to go get gas.  Fuel guy wasn't there.  Came back with $8 worth of Chevron 94.  Saw the  S/C guys already running, so I just lined right up, leather jacket, wallet and all

Best launch ever for me, pulled hard.  Good shifts, very little timing being pulled, full boost etc.  I'm thinking "good run, but still gonna be lacking"

Get on down to the timeslip shack, and she hands me my (this years) holy grail.  13.85!!  1.85 60', 8.8 1/8th

Not what some of you are running for sure, but for my old car(225k), street gas, street tires, catalytic converter, full interior,not too shabby at all

And the Canucks won too!!

It was a fun night, ran smooth with no breakdowns, what happened to that Firebird that ran into the wall? I just heard about it.

not sure what happened to him, but Carmen told me it happened right in front of her, Travis and his woman.  He got squirrely, sideways, and smacked the wall, HARD.  Both airbags etc etc.  It took about a half an hour to clear it up.

He was pretty shook up for sure, they had him at the annoucers booth just before I hopped in for my final(dissapointing) run.  Sounded pretty shook up.

I didn`t run it actually, I pulled a 15 second 1/4 on the first run with the new ecu, and took it out as I missfired all the way down the track. So I slapped the stocker back in and stayed with that. Its funny how many people come up to me and ask why my car sounds like that, they ask why all the "fast" dsms sound that way. hehe. External dump is "da shiznit"  it would seem, to the young Gs .

1.725 60'     7.7 at 90.3mph in the 1/8th  I love DSMs hehe. Wait till I get rid of my missfire and get rid of these tiny injectors. THEN maybe I can live up to this damn turbo I have under my hood.
