well after countless hours of work and hundreds of dollars in gas tuning, I finally made it there..... Cheesy ..  Now I guess I should bring it down to Mission where the air is dense, and the cars run real fast......

1.69 60's with the tires blazing!!!  time for some drag radials...

Very nice.  You get to move up to the only other <12 second time on the times list.  Cool

Do you know what your cars weight is now?

Thanks for the confidence Mike, but that's lower than I was aiming for Smiley.  Great job Mitch!  All this on the stock tranny?  I'm amazed you can get a 1.69 60ft with a stock stall TC.

Yeah kimyee the transmission is stock except the shift kit, and rewiring the tcu for full manual control of the upshifts  Cheesy .  It takes a good while to get it up on the converter, but when it hits 25lbs off you go!!!
I have seen 3500 stall on my logs, amazing for a stock stall.  I can just imagine the trans temp going up while I'm stalling it up though  , I have to hold the e-brake and the foot brakes to hold it back at the line!!
Street legals this weekend at Mission hey?? who else might be there if I was to come down??

Hmm...how long does it take you to get to your 3500 stall?  Do you see a plateau in your RPM trace as you brake torque?  Be careful, I've heard of somebody who had an artificially high stall because it was actually the front clutch pack slipping.

If you ever get the funds, looking into an IPT restalled unit.  I have a 4k one now and I can hit 20psi in about 3.5 seconds on an Evo3, stock cams.  Day to day driving, you hardly notice the higher stall, BUT I do have a locking TC.  It might be more of an issue if you're on the highway lots and have no aftermarket tranny cooler.

he allready has the aftermarket tranny cooler, so that TC shouldn't be a problem...

Ds-map / Jackal, highly recommended.  I've been running it for the last 3 - 4 years.  Amazing improvement in throttle response and overall power under part throttle conditions, and that was with the old maf still in place for 2 years.  Amazing tuning platform in my opinion, and best of all free.

Mitch, there's a post in the meeting room about next weekends drags, as of this morning looks like a good number of people are going.  I'm not sure what's gonna happen with work and whatnot, I might show up with the slow car if I can.
