I'm having a hard time trying to figure out how the heck I'm gonna get my speaker wire through the tiny accordian tube that goes from the side doors to the body. Are there any tricks to doing this?

I'd suggest tearing apart a coat hanger and using it to guide it through.  This should work, unless its made of tissue or some other weak material in which case it might rip it

Ya I've gone through about every vulger experssion in the dictionary. I'm now moving into slang expressions

Also it says in my wiring intructions to NOT put the in line fuse in the holder before connection to the battery is made. Does this mean I have to attach the power wire to the battery first then insert the fuse, then attach the negative cable back on the battery?

Yeah, it means don't have the inline fully connected, then connect the power lead to the positive terminal on the battery.  Disconnect the inline fuse, so that the cable is now physically separated.  Make the connection to the battery (with the inline apart), screw in the other end of the separate power lead to the amp.  Insert the fuse into the power lead from the amp, make the connection to the powerlead on the battery, tighten the fuse holder, voilla - you have power.  Your negative terminal doesn't need to be disconnected for this at all.  Just a precautionary measure.

Wow, the amp actually powered up on the first test, that's a first for any mod I've done lol. Still having trouble with the wires for the front speakers though. I'll have a go at it again tomorrow, first I need some sleep...
