About how much would i be expecting to pay for new lifters? has anyone replaced their own? how difficult was it Cheesy Huh

And its not that hard to do your self.  10mm socket to remove the valve cover.  You need some silicone to reseal the valve cover as per vfaq.  Be careful torquing it back on.  Don't crack your valve cover.

As for the lifters themselves, you need a couple of big, flat head screwdrivers to pry the rockers off and back on.  Seems ackward at first, but you'll get the hang of it right away....  Those rockers can go flying.... Make sure you have the means necessary to retrieve them, should they fall down somewhere into the engine....  Maybe cover the engine bay with something......  :wink:
