Heres a pic guys. Hangs down a bit too much Imo. I cant really get it up any higher though. Lets hear it. To be more specific, is there anthing I can do to protect it a bit?  |

someone posted a thread quite a while ago about making a little bar to protect your intercooler, it may have been John? I dunno.. was a long time ago, I did a quick search but had no luck.. I'm sure someone will remember better than I do...

I'd remount it. Unless you are going to be a perfect driver, and never make a mistake pulling up to a curb, or pulling into a parking space, you are, one day, probably going to cream the intercooler on somthing. In that location it is also very susceptible to damage from rocks and other stuff that will get thrown up by cars on the road.
Aluminum is very difficult to weld, especally on an intercooler as the cores are usualy epoxy sealed, so patching an intercooler is not cheap.

Andew, the remounting is going to be happening in about 6-10H so I will be up late tonight playing with it. When I first mounted it, it was straight but I hit something and its not so straight now. Thanks.
