Hello, I introduced myself a while ago, but i'll just do it again cause it's been so long. I'm from Germany, we (Family) lived in Vancouver and Westbank (Kelowna) till I was eight, then we moved over cause of apprenticeship and family stuff. Here a few pics of my '91 Eclipse I've got 212000km (132500miles) on it now, still running smooth (up to 240kmph (150mph). Got no real mods other than the k&n airfilter and sportpedals and a new shiftknob. I'm owner #8 *lol*. Well, bear in with me, cause I could have some weird questions some times (i'm not a mechanic... i'm IT-Specialist!). Greetings, Alex

thanks! nope, no turbo, just fwd. the turbo wasn't sold in europe, all the eclipse drivers driving a turbo, had to import it from NA. but my mirrors need new paint =/ same with the two side-parts of the rear spoiler (where the antenna comes out from). gonna get that done soon!

The car looks nice. Looks alot more like a laser with the lights and the grey strip down the side. She looks nice man. Just for all those 1g owners out there, i used turtle wax prime, and then turtle wax it self on my wing, mirrors, roof (All the plasticy black parts) And people always ask me if i repainted my plastics. Its amaxing what some nice wax will do for the body of your car.
Though if you got the cash, re-painting them seems like something every 1g owner has to do. but scince im not jackin your thread, nice ride man, represent BCDSM in Germany w00t.

Alexander that is just sweet that you are a ember of this forum, your car is lookin nice, is it a twin cam? thanks! sure thing, i've also got the 4g63 motor. i'll make a picture of what's under my hood tomorrow, when it's bright again. (everything is original) I've got my DSM since 2003 now, and I got a lot of stuff fixed, and paid many many $ for that... but i'm happy I did that. turtle wax Someone on a differnet board used that, I wanted to wax mine with that too before winter starts. Damn, I miss my garage =/. represent BCDSM in Germany yeah, i'd kinda like to know where to get that BC DSM sticker from

i recommend putting a turbo system in the car. You could grab a used 14b and a sidemount ic system, and a manny for under 500. Althought you are in germany so....ya

thanks, but OOOOHHHHH NOOOO!!! some in germany mutated their 1g NT to a T... i'm not really a fan of that. i wanna leave the car as original as possible. it even hurts me enhancing the hi-fi system. *lol*

nice shape, you take good care of it... nice detailing on the engine. You can really use anything on your rubber/plastic trim.. any type of tire shine or interior product like armorall aswell.. I like tireshine the best, it holds up very well on the trim and really makes it shine.

Graeme and anyone else. Its no where near as simple as hanging a turbo off a manifold and sticking it on your head. The engine internals are different, the ECU needs a circuit for a knock sensor (and a sensor), the maf is smaller, the wirning harness is different, the compression ratio is way different, the injectors and fuel pump are different, the code in the ECU is different and on and on. Plus the clutch wouldn't take it. Very nice car Never seen those wheels before, unique. Along with that lower cladding, Euro thing or aftermarket? PS, get a header and exhaust
