This guy I know out there that rides a motorcycle used to tell me stories about "munns rd" and how sweet it was to ride on. I always wanted to drive it but never got around to, anyone on here been up there? I think it comes back to the highway after thetis lake or something. Can anyone shed some light on this?

Circle route is the best.
The old logging road that has been paved is sick. It's like a race track. Barely any cars at all. Nice smooth road as well.

I think he's referring to Ross-Durrance Rd.

One of my favorite routes to take is the Pat Bay to Brookleigh (@ Elk Lake), jump onto Oldfield and down Old West Saanich to West Saanich and to Prospect Lake Road. Take Munn's to Ross-Durrance and back down Willis Point Road to West Saanich (This spits you out by Hartland).

I go out to Port Renfrew tons in the spring/summer/fall.  Some areas of thet road are just a blast to drive on.  SUPER TWISTIES.  A little bumpy in some areas but definalty worth the drive.  Awesome scenery too.
