Guys please give me your secrets for tightening the outermost bottom nut .I have taken the motor lifting bracket off already and nothing fits in the area to tighten the flippin thing.

this works for me.. not this size, but the actual wrench. I bend it further than the angle provided.

its called a crowfoot socket  go and ask for one in the size you need at a good tool supply store like KMS

Crowfoot won't fit, but Fraser's suggestion sounds good.  I thought my 2G had it bad.

remove the heat shield on your power steering pump, its easy and it saves lots of pissing around.  When you put it back on you only have to put the nut back on the big one, not the little one.  Done this on at least 5 cars now, no rattles or problems.  Been off the red one for oh, what?  5 years?

Then like Matt said, 1/4" drive stuff.  Works well.  You can get it tighter with a normal wrench too. my 12mm wrench fits in.

I think I will knotch my power steering bracket(the cast iron black one) so that its not such a sharp angle.
