Is there any difference in the 1G FWD and AWD kits?

Can I use the AWD kit on my FWD?

I checked out a few different online stores, and they only seem to ask you to specify if your car is a 1G or a 2G when ordering a fuel pump, so I don't believe it matters if it's AWD or FWD.
