so im heading home from the cloverdale rodeo after a 12 hour shift, heading down fraser highway when i hear this car come roaring up behind me, drive through langley get to where the airport is and its 2 lanes and after the intersection it narrows back to one, so im sitting there and the olds pulls up beside me and the guy looks over at me and smiles, the girls in the back seat start laughing at me, the cars got dual 3" exhuast and its got a nasty cam int the thing, big meats on the back. so i rev r up a bit launch it hard and find my self ahead!!! hit second pull ahead of him hit third and he runs out of room and pulls in behind me!  im like holy that was awesome!!!!
get past the airport  up where the road goes back to 2 lanes, start heading up the hill and the guy pulls up beside me and gives me a thumbs up hits his stearing wheel and says damn all at the same time laughing a little then takes off , behind him his buddy in a chevy II fully caged with big meaty cheaters on it start racing  around, still cant believe i pulled on him

Me and you gotta go at it one of these days.  I would like to see how our talons would compare as we have simular mods. (you need FMIC tho   )  Maybe ill get down to mission soon and we can try her out.

pretty much, i have one sitting in my room, no welder to to install it tho, same with a sweet 3"ss downpipe that i need to install aswell

i need exhuast on my talon but i think ill just remove the two 19mm downpipe nuts and drop the downpipe off to the side a bit.

i was planning on connecting a pipe to my dp, running it just in front of the passenger rear and exiting it out the side no muffler lol

PPS, good job on the Old mobile 

I have a buddy with a '74 with a '68 10.25:1 compression 4bbl, dual exhaust, cammed 455 HO. It romps pretty good.  I would estimate it at about a 13.25 or so.  He could almost stay with my Talon when I was at 12.90.  Fun ride, sounds WICKED and is a burnout king.  Better than a Five-Ho!

off topic but I ran a very traction limited (2.01 60') 12.52.  I DID pick up nearly 10 mph however
