Hey everyone,
So I just finished getting my beast back and alive. Got it running again (hadn't been started since September), new tank of gas and some fuel injector cleaner. Had to put a new alternator belt on. Cleaned up the engine bay and interior and just gave her a detail on the exterior this afternoon.
I'm expecting a few more hiccups based on past experiences. But for the time being she is back and running and insured.
Look for me bombin around town.
I will prob post up a few new pics soon.

no fuel, rpm, or boost log. "It can't be done" Tune by luck! Lol I don't get upset but when someone talks like they know everything and when you put a statement like this turbo spools at this rpm your kidding yourself on a car making 600-1100whp. It can't be done.

damn u get urs on the raod and mine comes off the road:| BUuuuuut my wheels are on, the new fender and headlight are on, now I just need to throw a good clutch in, take it in for my V.I that is passed due now and it'll be back  |

just a couple lil thigns...lol 2 new headlights...mine are illegal cuz they dont say dot...PFF, put the silencer in the muffler and thro a clutch in and get it inspected and it will be back...maybe a week or 2 it will be back

So after finally getting it goin again, polished/waxed up, lookin sexy.....what happens last night??? I hit a god damn deer on Veterans Memorial late at night. I absolutely obliterated the thing, the whole front end is completely toasted, the hood is curled inwards, it is pretty gross looking. I can't even hose it off because ICBC needs to see it tomorrow morning.
I may snap a pic and toss it up for giggles.
I love the DSM gods. [/sarcasm]

I just got back from my ICBC claim and talking to that body shop thats going to be doing the work etc. The bill is going to be around 3 grand. Pretty intense. And it looks like its going to take awhile because they need to custom order me new headlights because I have those euro style clear lense ones, they said those will take like 4 weeks to come in. They also need to order a brand new bumper and hood and some other shit. So its going to be like 3 weeks or so before it even goes into the body shop.
So i'll get it back just in time for summer to end, woooooot woooot!!! I'm so happy right now.
I'll prob take a couple pics tomorrow before I wash it.
Luckily though its covered under comprehensive and the claim won't be affecting my insurance at all.

I thought last year I had lost all DSM enthusiasm, then gained some of it back, got the car going good again, lookin sexy....kind of making my way back into the scene. Then the DSM gods throw a deer at me, its like an omen, telling me to get out.
