Its good to keep stock boost untill you have other suporting mods. theres no point on running 16psi on a stock set up it would just damage it and be slower in the long run.

so toss a denso 260FP or wineburo and get a logger and a boost gauge. then play a little. be careful and do it to it!

no fuel, rpm, or boost log. "It can't be done" Tune by luck! Lol

I don't get upset but when someone talks like they know everything and when you put a statement like this turbo spools at this rpm your kidding yourself on a car making 600-1100whp. It can't be done.

A three inch exhaust system will raise you boost to 15 psi and wake up your engine..

not quite, i think you'd be better off with 20psi and a 100shot of nitrous at the same time (they'll equal each other out), drive with your passenger window down 1/4 the way and leaning slightly to the right while you drive.

Also wear 1 white sock, 1 black sock and make sure your boost fluid is filled up.

The stock one is NOT accurate. Does it not estimate the lbs?? You can run like 25lbs of boost on the stock system but it won't do any good not enough support from the fuel.

Close, I was assuming that Mr. Demick was being sarcastic and I attempted to follow suit.

If he wasn't being sarcastic I sure as heck was.

from a stock fuel system perspective:

you can safely run 14 psi on a stock turbo without running the risk of running lean.

Any other turbo (including all 16g's) ...   u better keep it stock.

I did the fuel calculations somewhere in one of my threads....

For my set up, I calculated:

13:1 Air/Fuel Ratio at 7000rpm for a EVO III 16g turbo running 85% duty cycle on the injectors at stock boost. (12psi)

Thats even stressing the injectors a little too much. Bottom line any higher boost and you will run lean and start fucking shit up over time.

STAY STOCK until you have air/fuel control, injectors, boost gauge and a fuel pump. Even then anything over 15psi, you might as well get a FMIC cause your stock intercooler will just get heatsoaked.
