Well allright then.  This has nothing to do with the tracks.  It also has nothing to do with street racing... it's just something that I found amusing.  I was coming home from work today, noticed another DSM on the road, and ended up in front of him at an intersection on Steveston Hwy. (no I didn't race the DSM).  

Anyway... to set the scene: there was a city vehicle blocking the right hand lane about a block up the road.... and the light was red.

Light goes to green, and I accellerate as I usually do and hear tires squeal... hmm that's odd I didn't give it *that* much gas! :oops:  Then I notice that the minivan that was beside me at the red light is *still* beside me.   Amusing.  Second gear, gas, end of story.

It's a freaking minivan mmmkay?  :roll:

Oh, and out of curiousity - blue laser - someone from here?

sometimes ya just gotta wonder eh?

This 40something hippy looking woman in a rusty mid 80's Toyota Corrolla wagon with a roof rack revved at me the other day and took off like her seat had a fire under it.  I nearly crashed into a curb at the corner I was laughing so hard Cheesy

oh, and there was this guy who had a banana coulored 4dr mid 70s Dodge, probably a Valiant with a slant 6.  Anyway, same sorta thing, only the road narrows to one lane about 80' after the lights, so I hadda get ahead of him.  Funny sometimes eh?
