Thats the plan...I'm too far away to attend meetings (in Duncan), but IIRC they run a gravel driving class in May, and manage to get a few events rolling over the summer.

Not shown are the 4 Yokohama gravel tires and the 400watts worth of driving lights on a removable rack that came with.

Just got back from Bamfield to Port Alberni...car is covered in muck. The DSM suspension is great at soaking up the rough stuff. It was a blast! I had to keep it reined in, as you never know if one of those monster off-road logging truck (or any logging truck for that matter) is just around the next hairpin.

There are some nice sections where you can really open it up. But like you said, you never know whats around the corner.

Nothing special in terms of performance.

cage, seats, 6-point belts, intercom, camera mount, set of gravel tires, but AFAIK, no special mods; I have noticed a significant difference in the way the car pulls out of corners (as compared to my other '90 DSM AWD), so I *suspect* it may have a limited-slip front diff of some kind, but can't confirm.

here is a pic; not mud bog dirty, but I splashed through a couple of big puddles just before getting into town, so some got washed off...

Light em up on gravel that way you should be able to know lol!!!!
