I have an -10 AN hole (eg 5/8 inch hole)  pumping out air at idle.... And probably much more at boost (you're have to ask RG since they were there to witness the event on the dyno).
My motor is fresh and has very good leakdowns.

Plug that hole and watch my dipstick launch.
No way a PCV type valve can create a vacuum in the valve cover under any boost.. If the PCV valve wasn't screw in my motor would blow it out..

This is not an opinion this is what actually happens on my motor on a RG chassis dyno...

Do not run a closed PCV system on a Hi boost turbo motor..you risk burning your car down...

You'll make more power with a crankcase under vacuum instead of just vented, you'll also have less corrosive fumes floating around in there.

You're dreaming !!!!!!Chrysler Car Company has been trying to perfect a crankcase vacuum system for 30 years and thats on a non-turbo motor..  They use the exhaust header collector to suck out the crankcase and valve cover fumes.

You want gains from the crankcase try an $5000 plus multi stage dry sump system.

I know, it's not supposed to, it closes under boost. The PCV only creates vacuum in the crank case when you're not boosting. As you mentioned.. there's lots of info on DSMtuners about this. Venting doesn't work as well as sucking out the fumes.

By what you're saying, I don't think you fully understand how the stock system works.

The thread reads " Solution to oil dipstick popping out"

The PCV system sucks out oil fumes under deceleration (or high vacuum) to be consumed in the combustion process .
The fumes do not enter the atmosphere therefore a more green way of doing things.
Any slight gains in lower crankcase is offset by adding contaminants (from the crankcase) into the combustion chamber...

Bottom line is it doesn't help the motor nor my dipstick.....
Go ahead is cover your intake in black sludge
it took 4 months of meth/water to clean my intake out.

Yes, we are talking about the dipstick coming out.  That's why I brought up modifying the stock system to use only atmospheric venting instead of vacuum to suck out your crank case fumes adds to the problem.

Now you're on to the oily buildup and contaminants in the combustion chamber... which we all know can easily be solved by using a good catch can on both the PCV and the breather.

Bottom line is sucking out the harmful vapours is better than letting them make their own way out through atmospheric venting. Better for your engine, and for the dipstick problem. I don't see how that's arguable.

I don't have a oil catch can... Ask anyone who has seen my engine compartment ....
There has been no visible oil residue coming out of my valve cover since RG vented it...
And no dipstick issues either!!

I plan to install a catch can for the track ( Or use my Pepsi can)..

Put a 1 way Valve on the dip stick hole.
Use the oil dipstick only for when you need to check oil.

Solved!

my dip stick makes its way out too, but its from vibration, not pressure.
