Yeah I was puzzled too when he told me he's still running stock injectors and his wideband reads rich.  He does have a 255lph fuel pump.  But with stock ecu and injectors and the 20g he should be lean if he's using a mbc to reach 14psi as he told me, although he said he's using a 8psi wastegate spring?  Maybe I didn't get all his facts straight.  He has a SAFC at home not installed yet.

Mike, if you need an extra hand with the car I would be more than happy to help you out, plus I could learn a few things.

Richard, That was me in the office signing up for volunteering, are you going to be out for the sept 11 event aswell? Yea I believe his best run was a 15.0 or 15.1 but from where I was standing it looked like he was rolling out of the line.

Yeah it definitely sounded like he wasn't on boost as he left the line.
No I have to work afternoon shift on the 11th.
If you see John and his white 2g there, confirm the mods I've listed here and pass on Mr. Hartman's advice and this website address.  Thanks, John Hartman
You should check out the autocrosses too.  I hear they've been using the PGARA go cart track on Thurs. evenings.http://www.ncmsc.ca/forum/

Hey...Just noticed Jason's post...
Yeah that was me across the lanes on the grass...Nice place to watch from  Smiley
It was my 3rd time out to the strip as a by-stander and I couldn't take it anymore..had to try it out...so I decided to run my car last Friday, since it was the last race day of the year.

It was so much fun Cool ...  I didn't have to watch out for animals, cars, people, kids coming home from school  Shocked ...ok, just kidding 'bout the last one...lol...
Seriously tho, if you're gonna race, that's definitely the way to do it.  Thumbs up! on the PG track.  Everyone was very professional, and Helpful...I had alot of questions before pulling up to the line, and they were all eager to answer Smiley

So...how was my run?
Well, the first one didn't register on the computer for some unknown reason.  My second run was 60ft - 1.964, 1/8 mile - 64.967 mph, 1/4 mile - 14.325 sec (ugh!) @ 96.742 mph.  And the third run was...well...slightly worse... lol.
A weak Clutch was the culprit!
I had my stutter set at 4200rpm at the launch, and I spent 1st, 2nd and 3rd gears trying to get my clutch to engage by easing off the pedal in each gear...finally somewhere near the end of 3rd it grabbed and that's when I felt some g's in the seat lol...I couldn't even use the nlts feature since I could never get my tps at 100%.

SOooo...should have an act2600 ready by next year, and hopefully see some low 13's or maybe even high 12's.
I'll be pulling out the centerforce clutch that's in my parts car this weekend...and if it looks any good, I might just use that for now.

And Richard?  You need another car!!

Looking forward to next year, so I can hit every race week...think I just got addicted  Wink

Way to go Ed!  I knew you wouldn't regret it even if your results weren't what you hoped for.  I'm just sorry I wasnt' there to see it.  Call me when youre re/re your clutch.  I'd love to help if my schedule will allow.  If you were soft releasing your clutch pedal at every shift, there's alot of et to make up with a strong clutch, although your 60' time was same as mine.
