Now a supercharger AND a turbo (superturbo) lol would be a neat thing to see done on a 4g63
I think i remmeber seeing one fabbed up on DSMtalk or tuners.

started in an na wwd, ended up in a 90 tsi awd, i stopped the project after i tore two drive belts that eventually ended up in the timing cover, 32 valves and according work made me sour bout the whole thing. i sold the charger and all supporting parts to michael hamilton on ca.dsm he put it on a 91awd then he disappeared one day? i have no remaining pictures, its been years since i seen one of it. kimyee lai and discussed the project on dsm talk back in the mid-late 90's. my brain has almost pushed that memory out of my grey matter, these days i just know better. somewhat.  |

We try this using shop vac blowing into Lowell's Firefly intake I think we gained 2-3hp... hahahaha And installed same thing on a brand new M35  , told the customer that it's stupid thing to do, but he insisted. Didn't bother dynoing...... |

I once sent magnuson products (look them up) pictures, including bent valves and bloody cylinderheads, they were sending me quotes on anodized pullies made for my drive specs. never did deal with them when the machinist up the road did my lathe work for a large black timmies.

I was reading a DSPORT magazine with Power Enterprise's Twin Charged R35 GTR (two superchargers and two turbochargers) and their twin charged S15 silvia (just 1 turbo and one supercharger... but still..) Its pretty bad ass the numbers these cars put out, like the GTR motor is completely stock, other than the exhaust system made by PowerEnterprise and the intake and superchargers.. and it puts out 620AWHP or something.. that's just stupid. haha.. God i would love to take a ride in that thing. |
