Back when my Talon was stock, doing commuting from Langford to Sidney (You should know where these are, Jamie), I'd commonly get 450k to a full tank - From topped off to gas light. These cars don't get good mileage stock. They don't get good mileage when mildly modded. If you tune them well and take fuel out of the maps where it's not needed, and stay out of boost, they can improve. But not that much!
I think the BEST I've ever gotten is ~25-26 mpg, highway driving. ~21 When stock, mixed driving. And mine's closer to 18 now, mixed driving.

Brett don't you have a 1.6l engine in there? That helps I would imagine! And Cam, I commonly get between 500 and 550km to a tank.

no im talking about the frankenstein 93 colt with the 4g63 i got ahaha...
the 89 turbo colt does have a 1.6L in it... and it also weights around 2350 lbs i think... the 93 chassis is quite a bit lighter. Probably due to the 89 colt's hatch and rear glass.

I really didn't hammer it much when I was driving it daily. Only when I went to the track - and the occasional highway rip. But I rarely speed.
