but the way the hood is bent just doesn't make any sense whatsoever. The hood being bent blows my mind. I have no idea how it could possibly sustain damage from a hard bottom on the struts... Plus where it is... Does it still drive straight? Any chance that something got tweaked? |

its so weird your hood bent... when you opened it you could hear it caught on something, maybe it just absorbed alot of the force produced.

Everything drives perfectly straight, all the lines are straight, and it wasn't even like it dropped that hard into that dip, and for it to bend that bad everything would be fucked if it was the rest of the car flexing. Oh well, what happened happened. Now the decision is either to have the stock hood from Shane painted or get an OEM style CF hood. Only thing i don't like about the cf hood is having to have hood pins.

pretty sure i didn't say that or i wouldn't of forced anything, I didn't really notice any resistance but I did open it quickly.
If i got hood pins I would make them least noticable as possible, they would be black thats forsure.

in the last week taht fuel rail and injectors has been on and off at least 6 times...no wonder the o-rings were fucked...oh well gotter all fixed up now

Untrue to the legacy, this is the first time either one of my DSMs has ever been off the road for more than a week or so for scheduled maintainance or mods. Wish I could have made it, leaving to go back to work in Alberta until late Feb or so, hopefully we'll have another meet March/April that I can make it to.

Yeah I was around that area around that time. I remember some white car behind me  but I don't know if they were trying to race me or not. Why you ask, someone text you saying they were behind you again? lol As for another meet I agree... Spring time would be good so I can actually go and meet some of you guys and not have exams to worry about coming up in like a week or two. |
