Well, last night I installed my Brand new fidanza 4.3 (6 puck ceramic) with a fidanza flywheel into my Laser.  Nice peddle feel, not to much stiffer than stock.  When I first drove it I felt like such a noob, This thing grips like a bastard. After 100km I can tell that it is starting to break in, Chatters alot less and isn't as unbearable in traffic.  I will Keep this thread updated with my thoughts of it.

Well, I have 1k on it now, Chatter is very minimal, I haven't done any launches or lots of stop and go traffic yet, but I am liking it so far !

Hopefully your luck with this clutch is better than mine. Pics are of the clutch after  @ 2100kms. I did a 500km break-in, drove the car for two months and only 6 passes at the track. A "guesstimated" 550hp as I was flowing 64lbs/min @27psi on an 86HTA.

Not shown in the pictures is the amount of play in the sprung hub assembly. I'm guessing one more launch and I would have broken all of the rivets holding the hub. Though for the time the clutch worked...it was decent. Good pedal feel and nice engagement.

For the record, all of the other clutch components were new with this install and zero play in the pedal assembly.

I think I'm going to try out an ACT2900 /6 puck next time around.  A twin disc just isn't in the budget just yet.

Scott, how do you feel about that clutch with 150 less hp?  Or thats not the issue?

Wait to see how mine holds up John,  I have close to 2000km on it now.

Scott, you sure must be pushing the torque limit of this clutch, its only rated to like 430-450.

I knew the clutch might not be up to the task when I installed it but I thought that I'd try. I'd recommend this clutch for someone with a smaller setup. I did like the fact that the clutch disc didn't spit the springs like some ACT discs I have used in the past. Which, from what I've heard, have now been revised.

I have just over 2000km on the clutch and fidanza flywheel now, still feels great, not to bad in traffic, minimal chatter.

So far I like this clutch better than the ACT 2600 with a street disk.  Lighter pedal, smoother in traffic, just all around a better feel.
