I hit the dyno a few days ago but my clutch gave once we upped the boost. I was pretty dissapointed so I didn't really pay too much attention to how much power it was putting down. Instead I was counting how many less meals I'm gonna have to eat this month in order to get a new clutch put in. I was pretty discouraged from the get go cuz when we started boosting it up, when we hit the same boost levels I was running with my 16g, it was actually making a tad bit less power. When my clutch gave, I think it was making around 360hp and 340tq.  Keep in mind that's on stock cams. It was either Tommy or Lowell that was saying that it spools 100rpm later than my 16g but it's the most power they've seen a 46g3 make on stock cams and with such little mods. It seems the turbo does have some potential and it seemed like lowell quite liked it. I ordered an ACT 2100 with a sprung 6puck. It should be here soon. Ill give another update as soon as I hit the dyno again.

holy crap!!  Pretty impressive!!

So there is not a huge difference really between this turbo and a evo III 16G then!  Makes me happy on my turbo choice for my 4G colt racecar (evoIII16G)

Thats some awesome numbers still!  Cant wait to see how she does on high boost once the new clutch is in.

How much methonal are you injecting?  Is this on 94 oct and strait meth?  How much boost did you put down those numbers at?  Are you going to upgrade the cams soon?

this turbo is very similar to the 16g in some ways, spool and boost charactaristics are very much alike.  although at the same boost levels, they make approximately the same power, my 16g was pretty much maxed out at 22lbs with boost dropping off up top where as the hta68 keeps boosting past 22lbs to redline.  i'm running 94 octane with one 750cc nozzle of straight meth.  on the pull where the clutch let go, i believe boost was around 29lbs.  the clutch slipped before reaching redline so the numbers may have been different.  the clutch is on it's way.  i'll be boosting again soon!  Smiley  i have to get my fast car ready for race season soon so my daily driver probably wont see cams till atleast summer.

running 29psi on a 16g sort of platform is awesome!!!  As well, running a turbo that hits like a 16g on the street while running 25+ to redline is awesome too!!

Sounds like a good bang for your buck turbo.

The evo 16g is so legendary.

no fuel, rpm, or boost log. "It can't be done" Tune by luck! Lol

I don't get upset but when someone talks like they know everything and when you put a statement like this turbo spools at this rpm your kidding yourself on a car making 600-1100whp. It can't be done.
