Ordered this book after seeing it at Franks shop and its got alot of good stuff in there. Definitely help me out. I got it from amazon and paid just under $30 shipped to me. Its not a how to book but more of a guide. Anyways just thought i'd tell everyone.

interesting .. !!  there is somethign wrong with the picture .. i dont get it ..

so the timing belt and all that is on  driver side and well would that mean the turbo would be againts the fire wall ? lol little confused

Im pretty sure thats the big reason why no one has done a full evo engine swap, because its backwards if you will.

the turbo still sits on the front of the engine in the evo 4-9...  they didn't start mounting the turbo on the backside by the firewall till evo X 4b11t engine

The evo layout 4g63 engine sits behind the front axle.
Our layout sits completely in front of it.
The evo layout moves the front wheels forward as well.

 There are no negatives and a lot of positives. In fact it makes you wonder why they didn't think of that in the first place...


For the heat management part, I forgot that before the X they were still front mounted turbos so you can ignore that.

It is a great book!! I've had mine now for a little over a year.

Paid $12. Bought it out of the Lordco trade show book.
