***THREE PLACES TO PAY ATTENTION***:
1. On the Lougheed Hwy between BCIT and Mission, there is 2 turns (or more) for Dewdney Trunk Rd.
One right after the Pitt River bridge, and, the next one.
DO NOT take the one right after the Pitt River Bridge. Its the next one you want! Its clear
if you have the map (you have printed it out right?)
2. Watch for the interchange from Lougheed Hwy to Hwy 1 after leaving Harrison. We have gone the
wrong way more then once!!
3. Watch for the interchange after travelling through Hope, and getting back on Hwy 1.
The HWY 3 exit sneaks up, and we have missed it and headed to the Coquihala more then once!
This years Fraser Valley Tour we will again be including the BCDSM Fundraising Raffle, 50/50 and BBQ lunch. Please refer to the link below:*The BCDSM Fundraising BBQ Lunch will be minimum $3 per personhttp://www.bcdsm.org/forum/index.php/topic,23258.0.html*Please note: Any members who are planning to bring children, please send Sheela Krasnuik a PM indicating the number of children, age and gender. Why!? Because it is not fun to be a kid and see the adults get prizes and the kids are left out!!! Sheela will be putting together some nice goodie bags for kids.
Volunteers and radios needed:
1. We need a volunteer to take lead on the trip, and one to be the tail and follow the rest of the group. This way there is a leader, and a followup car to pickup stragglers and break downs. *A middle person would be nice also.
2. If anyone have FRS Radios please be bring them. I will bring two if possible, but the more the better for communication. Communication is the key to keeping the group together during the tour.
Please PM me if you would like to volunteer yourself to be one of the leaders or the one behind.Thank you and we look forward to seeing all new and old members this year.
