I picked this kit up awhile ago because i heard some good things about it, and I finally got around to doing the job today, although these are on my GTS4 skyline not on a DSM, still a great product for anyone running bigger brakes on there DSM that they want to show off.

It comes with a caliper cleaning solution, a silver rust coating almost like a primer, and then comes with whatever colour you choose. I chose gloss black. I recommend this method of painting your brake calipers over any rattle can method, I did a red rattle can job on my old Talon and It was no where near as nice as this.

You can buy this kit for about 40$ at lordco (they usually have to order it in, atleast in victoria they did) It is kind of time consuming so dont do it on a day where u need your car. you need to allow the paint to dry/cure for 24 hours they recommend so i just finished and put the wheels back on and the car will sit over night and cure. anyway this kit gives an almost powder coated look to your calipers.

A very good product , I like it alot and I would use it on my next car as long as its brakes are worth showing off Smiley

I didnt take a before picture of my actual calipers .. I forgot too, but this is what they did looked like :

And now This is how they look now :

And A Quick Picture Of The Rear :

For Reference, This Is What The Kit Looks Like :

How do you make such a clean cut on the letters? dremel tool? grinder? masking tape? combination of the above?

the letters are cast into the caliper and they stick out, so after paint, just some sand paper over the letters to bring them down to aluminum
