If it wasn't for your post Chad, none of the other personal message senders would have known Yan had a fp manifold for sale.   Yan probably would have included the manifold in his 500hp part out thread at 10:57 am.  You checked your thread at 10:30am.  Forgive my nosey opinion if its not appreciated.  But sometimes life's like that, first cash, first sale.  Talk and dibs is meaningless to a seller if they don't come through.

Agreed with cash in hand. But I have cash in hand ready to buy, just needed an email. So that wasn't the case here.

My concern was less than 12 hrs to respond is just plain wrong to secure a sale. I think 95% on here will agree with that.

Anyways I didn't want to make a big deal about this, but we are all supposed to be helping eachother out and be virtuous. Having to worry about someone jacking a part offered to someone else for the sake of helping them out shouldn't be a problem on this forum.

I'm sure you would feel a little disgruntled if it happened to u. Yan was nice enough to offer it to me and before I even had a chance to respond yes or no with money in hand, the sale was jacked.

I don't where that sits in your books, but not well in mine.

Thanks Richard, I appreciate it, but Forced Performance just put their manifolds on sale for $175 for the weekend so I bought one.

Thanks,

Chad

Thats what I posted saying close the the beginning of this thread, lol, they have been onsale for about a month now I think.  Wicked price for a wicked mani.

When you get it use a High temp mani paint on it so it keeps looking like new.

NO I checked dsmtuners and call MAPerfromance where that sale was and it was no longer on. Forced Performance are now doing the sale themselves which started today.

Oh, I saw that price on Fp's website for awhile now, but atleast they are advertising it themselves now and not through a middle man.

You will be happy with this mani.

Have you ever dealt with them before Richard? Why is shipping so high. I amean I dont need overnight or 2 business day I would rather pay less, but they dont seem to have an option for that? Is it possible to call and renegotiate shipping?

I haven't delt with them before, but if I were you I would call them and have them ship USPS.  It could be that the online shipping calculator isn;t accurate to what the actual shipping cost is.

Call Aniel, see what they can do.

But this is why I always buy locally if I can.

I mean really, does it need to cost $20 to ship something to southern BC that costs $5 to ship to Bellingham Wa?  This is a real example.  I needed something recently and I calculated the shipping for Chilliwack and Bellingham.  Bellingham was $5 and Chilliwack was $20.  Same box, same shipping method, exact same product.

ordered one from FP as well - now I have to find out my options for coating it once it arrives...since I am in Abby, just having it sent to ship happens then picking it up and bringing it back.
