So i just bought a 98 Spyder and recently the drivers side rear window stopped working, stuck in the down position Angry ........i can hear the motor clicking when i push the switch and when I tried to see if everything was connected, I could feel that the motor was hot. Also, there is a black plug that is just hanging there, are there 2 plugs for the motor or just the one you see when the speaker is removed? What are my options?

Take a rubber hammer and hit the metal surrounding the window motor and at the same time hold the up button on the window and if it slowly or intermittently goes up its the motor and if that dont work then Try putting straight power to the 2 wires coming off the window motor Power to one terminal and ground to other and it will go up or down and if your reverse the wires it will go oposite of what it was last doing if it goes up and down then you know u have a wiring issus. My drivers window motor has gone on my spyder also
