who here runs a carbon fibre hood on their car? what brand and where did you buy it? i'm currently in the market for a carbon hood but i'm worried i'm gonna get a shitty fitting hood or one where the clear coat gets all hazy and needs to be buffed all the time. i don't mind paying a little more to get the best possible quality hood.

I have the VIS one on my '94, my woman has a VIS on her 03 RSX as well not sure how long shes had hers on there, probably a while, but it looks good. Mine is only just over a year, so it isn't old enough to do anything bad.
I think for the most part you get what you pay for with a CF hood, theve been getting maid for a while.
I would personally only be worried if it was some $150 NEW one, or something seemed out of the ordinary

Yan, Kevin at evolution deals with seibon. He just put one on his EG civic race car and the fitment is awesome. Im sure if you get bron to rough him up a little he will sell you one  |

I have the VIS on mine as well...got it back in 2002 and it still looks brand spankin' new. Perfect fitment all around, I paid $750 for it...but only because they were extremely hard to come by in BC back then. Got it at Bavaria Car Studio back in the day. Shady place but I had a hookup there (they're long gone now anyway).
