a small nut mysteriously made its was into the efan and bounced around causing this damage within less than a minute.  the rad was replaced

let this be a good warning to you all !

You really need to replace the rad for something like that? Just grab a set of needle nose plyers and go at it for a few hours  Grin

if it was my personal rad, id probably spend the time to bend the fins back ... but seeing as it was a NEW rad and a customers - not so much.
