Hopefully John will see the thread and have some insight into it. I don't really want to sell it to someone else until I know why...

Hey Andrew, is there any way that we can look up this water pumps part number, and verify that it is correct???
Maybe Darryl can post it up here (not sure if its on the pump itself..)

It bolted up to my car just fine

I checked the part numbers through lordoc, they were the same.
The pulley might be different, but the pump its self is the same.

i took pictures to show the difference

PUMPS SIDE BY SIDE

Outlined 1g 7bolt with my 2g 7bolt pump over the out line

2g gasket matching

Definatly different

my car is a 97 7bolt if that makes a difference

It was on my 4g63 and pumping  Huh

The only other thing that I can think of is that maybe Darryl's car is a 6 bolt???

I know we've looked at it in the past with my car, and Im pretty certain its a 7
