So driving down 200th my car bottems out ( not a suprize it's fuckin low) anyway so I bottem out and about 100 ft later I hear this clunk like somthing under tension breaking, and now have no grab in my clutch but my master cylender has had a slow leak in it for awhile now but I checked it and there is still oil in it I do not know what this is I have checked almost evrything I can on the side of the road while waiting for a tow truck anybody PLEASE HELP!?

90% sure master cylinder but it. Was weird how it just quit out like and when it did ..

the clutch slave(like our good BMW driver stated above) hangs very low and can get knocked off.  Nothing you hit that you can surive will take out the master cylinder.  Its high up on the firewall like nearly behind the speedo, and 1/3 the way inboard of the car.

I have taken both master and slve cylinders out and checked the pressures in evach one and throughly check all hydrolic lines and that wasn't the problem so it has to be internal because my clutch fork is being pushed still .... I you want you can look on YouTube I would post a linkbut am on my iPhone and can't properly copy and paste .. But anyway the video is called 99 eclipse clutch problems and it's by HoyHoy38.. Anyway my clutch is being redone tomorrow morning anyway so ... Thanks for the responces
