Well it was a short night because of dew and it being so cold.

The summit wagon did a best of 13.7 @ 99.  It ran awesome. Best 60 of 1.9 and that was a wuss launch.  This van is going to be awesome hahaha.  So funny so see it run a 13.7 lol

The black 89 colt GT ran a new best of 12.5 @ 114 with 0 knock this time after cleaning the combustion chamber and new plugs

We only got two runs in each but we were both extremly happy with how we did

yay it worked!  The combustion chamber thing.  Smiley

as for the Wagon, that sounds like a really good match for the Mazdaspeed from a roll.

pffft but then that rules out driver and driver bragging rights.

From a stand still!

yea right on your automatic tranny puddle  Wink

No, I am sure it could lauch, I just don't really want to break it as the clutch just might not be up to the power with the 3750lbs to move...  Sad

When I did sorta half assed try to launch it, I smelled clutch for a day or so.

Guys on Mazdaspeed forums routinely get 1.8-1.9 on stock or close to it cars.  I know, not as good as DSM's(what really is for the money) but way better than wrong wheel drive cars.

I don't think the mazdaspeed would break and if you were smelling clutch for a few days, well, we all know whose fault that is.

Pfffft the automatic was two whole cars ago. I have since bought and sold a Subaru and am now looking for something else while enjoying the Vw again.
