So I got the O2 Sensor Simulator today.  Should be pretty straight forward right!?  - But I couldn't find any instructions...cause I couldn't figure out what the three different "jets" as they call it are for, and which one are we supposed to use for the 2G??  And what is that U shaped gasket?

Now hope there isn't any clearance issues with the sensor and sections of my downpipe/bottom frame.

Any help would be great.

Thanks.

the only help i can offer is that "u shaped gasket" is a snap ring to hold something togethor... never seen one of those or dealt with them so i dunno what its for.

Yeah.

This is kinda stupid.  You would expect some information on this.  I know its basically plug and play, but giving you three little "jet" options...well which one is the right one??  I would also assume that U shaped gasket goes with the jet and the tip of the O2 sensor maybe!?

I rather get this right the first time.

Here is the exact Vibrant description.

Oxygen Sensor Simulator Fitting with Adjustable Jets

- Male end threads into existing M18 x 1.5 O2 Bungs

- O2 Sensor Threads into female end

- Use one of the three (3) included "jets" to help fool the O2 Sensor and eliminate Check Engine Lights

I searched everywhere even on DSMTuners, and did not find any useful information. Huh

looks like the c clip hold the restrictor into the body of the spacer.

I bet it will hit the floor pan with ur 3" exhuast.  I remember on the 2G cars we had at evolution we had to weld the space forward at a angle back towards the engine to make it clear the floorpan.

But maybe it will fit, who knows.

I have a sim on my truck, but it looks nothing like that. I hope you didn't pay a lot for it. http://www.o2simulator.com  Get the universal one. only $40, easy install, don't even need to remove the sensor.

Nah.

This cost me about $18.  Nothing expensive or fancy.  Its supposed to be a mechanical way of fooling the O2 sensor by spacing it out.  Some people use two spark plug non-foulers and tap it together to make an extension.  But for the price of two non-foulers, might as well pay extra to get this.  No wiring no mess.  Just piggyback.

Brett, I have checked my bottom, and I think it should clear no problem (cross our fingers), as the O2 bung from the downpipe is pretty spaced out from the base of the car.  Only thing that maybe a problem is the wiring harness might stick out a bit.
