I found set of winter tires for good price. The tire size is 225/60/16. I am thinking these should fit my 1g without problem. Please correct me if i am wrong.

Thanks!

stock ride height should fit... they will look (appearance wise) similar to a 215/55/r16.

No, Shane, they'll look like a 225/60/16.

These are a fairly tall tire to go on the car, as the proper sizing for a 225mm wide tire would be 225/50-16.

Your speedometer will not be accurate, but they should fit. If I recall you're at stock height. If you're lowered, I'm not so sure.

What kind of wheels were they on?

I know Ken Hawkins was running a similarly sized tire for rallycross, but his offset may have been different enough from stock to let him run it. He did rub under full compression and compressed-and-lots-of-steering-angle.

They are 16" wheels. I believe offset was 46mm.
