yea my car picked up roughly 35hp with going to Jackal and the FP manifold. Same boost level, similar timing. Some cam gear tuning netted about 7-10 of that.

My Evolution tubular manifold has not cracked in the 18 months despite being wrapped with header wrap and being outdoors all that time. (including winter) It has been recently inspected by them with no cracks then was sent to Sheela for coating.
I believe an divided t3 tubular setup is the way to go, but I don't know of any divided t3 turbine housings.

What did you have to do to get that gt30 to fit without hitting the block.

Lots of GT30 based turbos on DSMs with stock, FP and other manifolds. Sometimes it requires a mild denting of the large metal water pipe running under the manfold

Theres quite a dramatic difference between the FP cast and my Kinetic Tubular. The overall (piping) distance from the head to your turbo is shortened by going with the FP manifold because the runners are shorter than tubular manifold which tend to loop up or down. Whatever effect this will have on your turbos perfomance I dont know, its just closer to the stock manifold... Im just pointing out visuals. The cast also offers bigger exhaust ports then any tubular I have seen that costs under $1100. Ive often wondered what the differences would be in pickup and top-end flow, between the Kinetic tubular and the FP cast. Ide be interested to see how they would perform on the same setup under the same conditions.
I like the FP. Youll most likely will never have to deal with a cracking issue. It flows very well and looks great.
do ettt!

Add a flange as a spacer, plus add another gasket or take a look at the cast ERL mani. The turbo to mani flange is angled perfect for a gt30. Plus it is less likely to crack as readily as a tubular ss.

yikes Marke! is your turbo properly supported ? Im still in the process of making a bracket to link my turbo to the stock bracket location on the front of the block. Thats the reason my tubular manifold cracked. could have been the exhaust wrap too.

his is an oddball I think(Markes). These are pretty stout manifolds made of super material. And Markes car has a light turbo(16g frame turbos) and he has stock suspension to soak up the bumps. And its auto so no jerkiness/bobbing between shifts. His is the best case for making the manifold last a long time.
Lowell picked up 22 or something HP when he went with a DNP over his ported Evo manifold.

im pretty sure markes manifold was cracked before it was put on his car.. to me the crack on it did not look like from stresses of supporting the turbo.. more so from a defecting casting or excessive heat cycles.

yea gotta be a defect, thats what I meant. The metallurgy in those is excellent and his turbo is not big.
