I've never had a honda tranny blow and you rarely see honda trannies blow. They do destroy axles alot. Diff's are a maybe. Then again, the diff in my DSM went! Its the same for all car's though. Trannies are normally tough! Unless you own a wrx....

Like said above, and I will add that torque kills the trannies, clutches, axles, diffs. 275hp and 135lbs/ft is a big big difference from 275hp and 315lbs/ft. BIG difference. Same logic applies for 225hp and 250lbs/ft vs 225hp and 140lbs/ft.
As for Centerforce clutches, I have seen/heard of some DSMs that have trouble, but I have also had mine in for several years now, daily driven, and just for fun. It has been in there many miles and it was never slower than about a 13.2 since it was in there. It has held up to many hard launches. It also held up to at least 3 of Lowells cars. It finally died in his Laser when he was making I think 400awhp and the associated torque?
That said, who knows if it will hold up any more. The car is tuned pretty well now and can actually get out of its own way... I will be turning up the boost soon too. Lets see if it can hold 30+ psi.
As for my "slow" shifting, well I have a video around here of it, and many people who have watched it thought I had an automatic. One guy said "how harsh is that stage2 shift kit?" it shifts fast.

soooo anyways, after a full tank of 94 octane with no other modifications the mileage is within 10kms of when my bov was recirc.
so to confirm, absolutely nothing has changed after switching from recirc to vented

ahh okay.. yeah aftermarket BOV's for the most part stay closed at idle... The stock 1g BOV is open a lot of times at idle, which is the reason dsm's run like shit when people vent them... aftermarket BOV's work a lot better at keeping the air inside the pipe when its not blowing off.

SSQV ftw Until the diaphram craps out Dude then you just sell it on ricescene as an SSQL "SUPER LOUD" edition. It will still hold 8psi that way, its good for the people with bolt on turbos
