So I was driving to my girlfriend's house tonight went to push the clutch in to downshift and the clutch pedal went to the floor. The clutch was stuck down into the floor, luckily I was close to my girlfriend's house so she gave me a ride home. Her dad was saying that its probably the clutch throw-out bearing going, I remember Brett saying something about that cause it would make a metallic sound in neutral and not when the clutch was pushed in so I guess it finally went? Might be parking the dsm for awhile kinda sick of random sh*t like this  Sad.

Have you checked your clutch fluid level?
You could just have a leak. Put fluid in and lift your pedal up and pump it a few times. You may need to bleed it if it got too low.

Checked the fluid, looked full and brown not sure if it is supposed to look like that. I need to get it towed tomorrow though so I can actually look at it more.

sounds like a blown slave cylinder or master cylinder to me... or a broken clutch line.. all are fairly easy to replace...  and not super exspensive either...  try those things before you take the tranny off.

Would there be fluid all over the ground? Dang forgot to check before I left the car stranded, I also forgot to mention that it makes a loud rattling sound from the transmission when the car is on.

when in gear or in neutral? i was having this problem, have you tried pulling the pedal back up with your hand? mine was doing this none stop. i thought it was crank walk at first.......then realized it was just a bad master cylinder. actually mine wasn't bad just whom ever replaced it before hand left the hose from the slave to the resevoir to long and it folded over/crimped. causing a fluid blockage....it would randomly have the pedal just go straight to the floor on its own, or just not come back up after i put it in. i replaced the master slave, and cut the hose to be the right length. works flawlessly now. only took me about half an hour to change too. under a $100 fix. while it was messed up i just tied a string to it and when it stuck to the floor i would just grab the string and pull it up. just make sure when you are driving that when ever you need to come to a stop, you put it in neutral incase, the cluthc pedal decides to go down, or whatever. cause pulling that thing up in the middle of traffic sucks unless you have a string attached.

Clutch doesnt engage at all cant change gears when the car is on, tried pulling it up but it just goes back again when i push in the clutch. However regardless even if it is something minor, i'm probably looking for something else :p.

My money, based on what has been written here, is either the clutch fork or the clutch itself.  Somethings busticated.

A master or slave will give symptoms first, not just be totally fine, then shit the bed like that.

At least normally...

clutch fork for sure. Even with a hooped clutch, the pedal would come back.

That clutch fork busted off in the bell housing.

Happened to me once  Cry

busted clutch can do this.  If the fingers break or the springs fall out it will do this.  I had a car that did that once, and see it at work once in a while.

Tho I agree, its more probably the fork.

So you are forked, not effed  Cheesy
