Kris and I are planning on going to the street legal next weekend and I know most of us haven't gone out this year at all so I thought I'd invite everyone along.

I may or may not also have a certain wagon to run...

Remi, do they allow looky-loos?  If so, time and place details, please.  Just juggling some long weekend plans. Thanks!

Yup tony, you can spectate.  Its $5 entry for spectators and $35 to race.  Personally I think you should spend the extra $30 and race!

I won't be around this weekend as its vacation tome for me and ill be somewhere in the mountains out east..

But I will be trying to make ALL the following street legals with yvonne racing the storm, and me in my white colt.

Sweet. Would love to run the wagon against the colt Cheesy so I'll make sure to come out some time you do too.

Yeah tony, most people just go to watch.

Let's see: a full weight 2GA with a stock motor that can fart better than stock and an Evo tall first gear.  Probably a 60' that matches my mother-in-law's Lada.  Sounds tempting Brett.  LOL

I'll Google Mission Raceway's addy and start times.

Its not about time. No one with a DSM is going to be the fastest person to drag mission (lowell maybe on some nights if the big block domestics aren't around).
Its just about having fun and being able to run your car at WOT without worrying about safety or law.

My blue fwd 1ga bone stock with k&n cone filter and fart can run a 14.8. Your's AWD and some mods will be probably run low 14's or high 13's if you're really good and lucky.... Grin Grin Grin Grin Grin.  I'll come out with the 2g if it gets tuned by this week.

Other than a seat belt, do I need anything else?  A helmet?

Sharing a bit of research for folk that have never been to one of these before (like me) :

Time:    Gates open at 4:30 p.m., racing starts at 5:30 p.m. and ends at approx. 11:00 p.m. (weather permitting).
Place:   32670 Dyke Road, Mission BC.

You wont need anything else tony.  Your car will most likely run in the 14's or low 15's i would imagine.  It is possible for a 13 second run... but it would have to be a damn good launch with good shifts.

If you do run 13's technically you are required to use a certified helmet.... but in your car you probably wont need it.  Just say your probably going to run like 15's when u go through tech.  as long as u have a battery tie down you will pass.

Oh and you also need a sleeved shirt and pants.  No shorts and tank tops allowed.  also no sandles allowed.  you must have closed toe shoewear.
