Here's my dash gauge install, I replaced the oil pressure, water temp and gas gauge with Autometer phantom ones.

BC DSM sticker, thanks Sheela Smiley

Jordan helped me cutup my front bumper exposing a bit more of the FMIC. Yeah that's a ziptie holding my oil cooler up  Tongue

New rims on, thanks Nelson on that wicked deal  Grin

Definitely sick cluster. How much of a pain was it to get the gauges to fit nicely?

nice!!  I assume the water temp, and oil press you used the autometer sensors... for the fuel level, does the autometer gauge use the stock fuel level wires?

Thanks guys, the gauges weren't too bad to get in there. I just had to hack up the rear white plastic casing of the cluster and grind the holes out a bit for the gauges. Oh and the wiring, that was fun Tongue

You're correct Brett, I did have to use the autometer sensors. Good thing is that you can use the stock lines(wires). I connected the signal input for the gauges to the respective spots on the circuit board behind the gauge cluster. As for the fuel gauge, I had to add some resistors to get it to display correctly. It reads correct, I used the write up from tuners.

Rob, I'll get ahold of you tomorrow.

Later, Vlad.

Looks amazing Vlad! I wanted to do that a while ago. Especially for the tach since mine no longer responds fast enough. Did you have to install new sending units?

Thanks again all.

Yeah Cole, new sending units are required.  I just replaced the stock oil one with the autometer one.  I plugged the Autometer water temp sensor into the spot where the sensor for the purge valve? connected to.  The Autometer water temp sensor didn't fit into the stock spot so I just left it in there.  As for the fuel no sending unit was included with the gauge, I had to wire in resistors for it to operate within the correct range.  The oil pressure and water temperature gauges came with sending units.

The stock wiring can be used to get the signal from the Autometer sensors back to the gauges in the dash, you can even solder the wire directly to the circuit board on the back Smiley

If you want the part numbers of the gauges they are:

Oil Pressure - 5527
Water Temperature - 5537
Fuel Gauge - 5515

I'll probably replace the tach and speedo when I get a bit more money.  I wanna upgrade my boost gauge as well.  Jegs lists them here and you can just get them from lordco.  I got the water temp and fuel gauge for $50 each.

Later, Vlad.
