ever notice that husky and mohawk pumps are shit? ill stick to chevron with techron. Im sure the ethanol levels in the fuel at mohawk and Husky arent even that high... On a side note, With my work truck I received a gas card for petro can. I love petro can pumps! they actually let you have your last dollar of fuel without making you stand there for an hour. I bet the competitors make good money slowing that last dollar up. How many people pay with cash... pump ...get frustrated and hang the nozzle up with a dollar or so left... betcha thats why they do that. criminals. They have the technology to pump fast and accurately to the last cent. they just wont ever use it..

Yeah I noticed that too!! Seems all of the "new" pumps gp faster... A mohawk in chilliwack has the new pumps andb they go fast to the amount too...
I doubt they make them go slow to try and make money!! But that sure is a funny concept hahah

I understand having it slow down at like 10 cents or something before the desired level, but at 50 cents or over a buck left?
I think its to keep it from overfill induced pump shut off. Like if you try to stuff more in, and when it shuts down. I imagine that gets hard on pumps.
now, as for alcohol fuels, why do you want more alcohol for the same octane rating Dan?
If both fuels are 94 and one is pure gasoline and one is E15 or something, the gasoline one will make more power due to more energy per unit of fuel.

RG was saying that the ethanol blended 94 octane makes me more power than the chevron non ethanol 94.. @ a cost of fuel economy of course. i've never run anything other than chev 94 though.. i likes my fuel economy edit: i suppose the higher power would be related to more resistance to knock.. but i suppose thats insinuating that the eth 94 is higher octane than posted.

Dan, as for the power, was that just a change in fuel that gave the power boost? Was this repeatable, not just a one time thing? And did the Husky fuel allow you to tune for more power or just by putting it in you got more power?
Tommy at RG tolded me their dyno tests on most 4 cyl turbos ...94 Ethanol blended fuel made more power than 94 Chevron.. There is a slight tuning change required to get these results. In my case ,,,when I change to 94 Chevron they kept the car an extra day for retuning. 94 Chevron seems to tolerate slightly more boost but still made less overall power. So I would like to find some 94 octane ethanol blended fuel (that Husky/Mohawk used to have) http://www.bcdsm.org/forum/index.php/topic,25193.0.html
