Anyone have and sort of an idea how hard it would be to convert my 1ga fwd turbo into an AWD?

a lot of work...    a lot.   transmission, transfer case, driveshaft, d/s carrier bearings, rear diff and axles, ECU, wiring harness, and the list goes on...
Its a lot of time, effort and money.     The above parts are just some of the parts needed, and even if you get a screaming deal on them, they will still run you atleast $2000+

sell and buy a turbo awd.

There are big differences even in the unibody where the different subframes mount. For the price of these cars these days just buy an AWD.

There's one up right now for $1500. Guaranteed that'll be way less of a hassle

Maybe I'll just buy an AWD rolling shell and swap my 6-bolt in

There you go... That's the way to do it.

A big chunk of the underside of the car is different... Go compare the trunk floor of your FWD to that of an AWD. You'd have to do some major work to make room in a FWD for the AWD subframe and running gear.

not worth it on a 1g. 2G FWD is more doable... but 1g fwd are way too different

You take it, sell it Wink and buy an awd. Anyother way is pointless. Unless it's a colt or a spider.

no fuel, rpm, or boost log. "It can't be done" Tune by luck! Lol

I don't get upset but when someone talks like they know everything and when you put a statement like this turbo spools at this rpm your kidding yourself on a car making 600-1100whp. It can't be done.
