anyone know which wire is the tach wire on a 92 dodge colt, going to install an aftermarket one and theres no tach there now Sad

Depends on the Tac youre putting in. There isnt always a "tac" wire in a car.
Alot of the times you need to need a signal from the distributor or crank.

I think if you googled this, you'd probably find an answer.

I know on all the starters we do at our shop they usually tie into the injectors for a tach signal. Not sure if it will help in this case but worth throwing out there.

You can get it from the distributer... Or there might be a wire to the ECU as well.... You would have to get a pinout for the ecu wires to find out which ones.


There might also be a wires on the firewall as well that has a RPM signal.

Use google to search for the signal wire on the model and year of car.
IM sure some ones done it.
