It's really too bad that ferry is so much money... I'd love to get out to an island meet and meet a bunch of you island guys but geez... for me it's an hour and half to vancouver, each way, plus wherever I'd drive on the island.  So add up that gas cost, then factor in the cost of the ferry and I'm looking at like $120 round trip just for transportation, to make that worthwhile it's gotta be a weekend trip or something, so add lodging costs, food etc and geez... it'd be an expensive trip.

i know one mainland meet im gonna bite the bullet and pay up the money to go over for
the next FVT i've been waiting to go ever since i lost my first laser and decided the next one had to be there!

Maybe this year we should try and schedule it beside a mission street legals race.  Like the race friday, then the FVT saturday or something.  That way maybe some of the island guys can make a weekend out of it and get to both.  Lets do 2 FVTs too, or the FVT and then a canyon run or something, I love the bigger cruises.  I'm really looking forward to the meets now that I have an AWD and some FRSs of my own.
