The ultimate ricer game!

But it's pretty fun, albiet the physics are pretty unrealistic.

Racing:
There are three modes, drag mode, drift mode, and race mode. Race mode has several different submodes, such as time attack, circuit, knockout, and sprint. Drift is by far my favorite, with drag second, and racing third. Not that the racing sucks or anything, it just gets boring after a while.

Car Customization:
There are literally thousands of ways you can customize your car, from sleeper to blang blang Robin Toor style, with tons of different body kits, headlights, taillights, hoods, scoops, neon, etc etc. While you can't keep more than one car, as you upgrade, your car will appear on the covers of various magazines (turbo, sport compact car, super street.. literally dozons of real car mags), reminding you of all the different vehicles you  once drove. I'm not too sure what cars are in the game, as I am only about half way through, some notables I've seen are Supras, RSX, ITRs, a 1992 240sx, and a 2g eclipse.

Pros:
Absoloutly Gorgeous Graphics
Very accurate car and bodykit design
Sound effects are great (your blowoff valve even changes pitch when you start running more boost)
TONS of brand sponsors, I'm talking ACT, Venom, AEM, HKS, Greddy, Brembo, even Willwood
Addicting
Challenging AI
Drift and Drag mode are sweet

Cons:
The music is a cross between 94.5 the beat and 99.3 the fox, and you can't import your own music
the ambient traffic gets you CHOKED sometimes
some of the AI cars are fugly rice-mobiles, but that will just make you want to beat them even more
There seems to be only one city so far, with various maps snaking down different roads... time will tell if there will be more varaiety

Control is good, but it isn't as accurate as Gran Tourismo, and the physics are pretty forgiving; sometimes your car will flip an insane amount of times in a collision.

All in all, I like the game, and I'll probably even end up finishing it.

Yes, this game is highly addicting & the traffic can make you literally smash & throw your keyboard/mouse.  I have been an addict for 5 days and it is very good.  I think I shold go to rehab... or just finish the game & race people online...

The only thing that pissed me off so far, is that a Lancer with Stage-1 mods can beat an Eclipse with Stage-1 mods.   :BS:

Do they give you the option to upgrade the engine to a 6 bolt?
