this is the thread for it, is anyone interested, its well in advance so we can make a big plan for it.  Is anyone up for this, I can talk to the guy through e-mail.  I will only go if we have 10 cars going, anything less it is sorta a waste.

Of course we would leave at the same time, probably meet somewhere near the border and convoy in with FRS radios, also I would get really detailed directions.

2.  William Fredrickson
3.  Ryan Croft

Oh and BTW, we are meeting up with a convoy at Tacoma Mall at 9:45am (yes we are gonna have to wake up EARLY A55!!).

Do you think a tank of gas will get us down and back?? probably not.  I dont wanna fill up with there crappy 92 octane.

no i think its just a birth certificate and another piece of ID or something like that.  I think if we go down for a club meet im pretty sure they just let us through, just dont bring any fruits or veggies down.

Passport is not needed

Best to have valid DL (DUH) and your birth cert.

Providing I get confirmation from my other half, I think I'm definitely in.  A chance to hit WA and points would be fun.  And a group of us? What a way to reprezent yo!

I know, but this is like the latest thing.  I've heard it's because of the terrorist or some thing like that.   Can anyone confirm this?  Anyone went to the states in the last month?

Agree'd

Co-worker just came back from TN less than a month ago, and to be extra extra sure, I called CarlsonWagonlit Travel, and they confirmed that a valid, gov' issued picture ID (Drivers' License) and Birth Cert are all that's *required*.  Out of all the times I've been down to the states, I have *never* been asked to provide any documentation for my residency.

oh yah, and we have to stop at Krispy Kremes for breakfast =)

alright, so heres the deal, does anyone know how to get to the I5 Smiley cause I have directions from there, oh and by the way I told the NWDSM guys that we are not into driving fast, I dont want a speeding ticket in the states, we would get RAPED bad, so they agreed not more than 10mph over the speed limit, they have a cruise lined up and I have seen some pics of previous NWDSM meets and the scenery is breath taking, bring the cameras along thats for sure!!  AND DONT BRING ANY FRUITS!!!

99 becomes I5

I5 starts at the Peace Arch and ends at Mexico. You can't go far wrong
