i dont think so, i'm pretty sure their requirements to run the road course are so rediculous its not worth it to most people (full roll cage, etc etc)

well its not like many people "road race" on the street. street racing is just drag racing, which isnt hard at all to pass tech inspection. just the tech inspection for actual track racing (corners and such) is really hard

yeah but ive heard you have to come 4 hours early for friday night drags, you pay your $20 and get 2 or 3 races.. and you cant race who you want...  we need another track  Cheesy

i say we setup a group buy for the boundry bay airport  Cheesy everyone pitch in 100$ ... we only need 100,000 participants

not true, usually if i show at 5:30 i'm through tech in 45 to an hour...

it's 20 bux and you get 2-3 runs.. you can run who you want....as long as you line up next or behind them

no you can't cross categories though, import/domestic are different classes as is outlaw and bike... usually they are very good though

You can run whatever class you want, just have to sign your tech card in that category. THere was a silver integra running in domestic last summer.

As for the road course, requirements are dependant on who you run with, you can run a lapping day with minimal safety additions, similar to autox & drag racing.

do a search for PDC performance drivers club and mission

I tryed searching for the topics on the rules for Mission, with no luck. Can anyone let me know what I have to have or get rid of to race. I will be down for the March 28th and the April 4th, I want to be ready because I have to drive 6 hours just to get there...

Looking at the rules it says you fall in either import or domestic.  What does that mean for DSMs? do we get to choose which class we want to go into?

its not so much import/domestic any more. now its sport compact/domestic. were in the sport compact class, so we get to pick on civics and such all day  Smiley i'd rather run mustangs and stuff though

2 things stand out in my mind.  The first and probably the worst.  Draining of coolant.  I don't wanna run water in my car, its a daily driver, and not a trailer race car.  And draining it every week is silly.  What do you all do?

Secondly, if you break into the 12's you gotta get a helmet?  Ok, one for next year then Smiley
