Just got it a month ago. I absolutely love it to DEATH!  Best looking design in the affordable car category.  Fast too!   This is my first car and what a car to have. I got it because it looks sick and not many people have Eclipses here in lower mainland. I dont want a Honda or Mazda like everyone and their mommas have. Dont get me wrong they are great cars and very fuel efficient.  I wanted something that you don't see on the streets everyday.  I'm sure that is the same reason that you guys got your DSM for.  I'm still in the first car syndrome and its hurts every night that it is sitting outside, all cold and wet.  I need to buy those carport tent, anyone wknow where to get them?

Enough blabbering, here are some pictures.

Consider yourself lucky, my '87 Taurus first car caught fire every second tank of gas.  It's funny to appreciate that a car doesn't start on fire.  Those were the days   Cool

Thanks for the comments!! Yeah not everyone's first car have to be the greatest.  If it gets you from A to B, its alll good. But as for myself I wanted my first car to have low clicks (45,000 miles) and will last for a long time. So instead of buying a beater I saved up all the money I can and pretty much starved myself,  never went shopping for clothes except spend little money on food.  But in the lonnnng run it was really worth it.  I had to endure years and years of taking buses and trains.  It was a great way to save money but takes too much time to commute.  This car gave me an extra hr of sleep each morning before work. It is great not to do Translink again.

Oh yeah if you see me on the street, hollat at me. We can talk DSM and you can give me some knowledge too since I'm a newbie in terms of car.

my first car is my 99 GST, but anyway, i know how you feel Rick, i haven't bought a pair of shoes in 2 years!...work 2 jobs...took the bus...starved my self (currently weighs 126lbs) then spring came along...so did my 99 GST...unfurtunately, i'm still starving my self due to high interest rate and insurance. Oh yeah, u see alot of eclipse now a days, 2 years ago, i'd be lucky if i see one in a month, now they're everywhere. anyway, nice ride...tell us more about it...any future mod plans or anything?

sweet ride. Did you buy it in the lower mainland or import it from USA. If you don't mind me askiing how much did you pay/

My first car was an 1998 eclipse RS, I was also looking for low clicks which I got (31000 miles). IT took me like 3 months to find my car, but was so happy when I found it.
