After just about pushing the limit of the eagle/je combo, I decided
it's time to build a stronger engine that can handle more. At first
I was gonna have RG build it, cause I have never build an engine
before, but they were busy. I didn't want to leave the car there and
don't know when I'll get it back. So after a lot research, I decided
the only way to learn is to do it myself. The build went smooth,
I learned a lot and it was so satisfying!

Thanks for the nice words! Yea I already saw the gen
2 Gtx3582 while searching for the compressor map for
gen 1. It's a 10 blade design compare to the old 11blade
Make me think gen 1 design maybe choking a bit at higher
RPM/psi. I guess we'll find out.

I switched out the HTA68. Took it out one night and didn't like how lazy it drove. In its place is the new GTX3584rs in a TiAL .82 turbine housing. Changed out all fluids, got the 2200 injectors fitted along with a few miscellaneous fittings and ducting in place.
Took it to RG to get it tuned today finally. Combo did 670whp and 421tq @ 35.6 psi. Boost is creeping,gonna upgrade to 60mm wastegate, maybe install the bigger map sensor and a pre-turbo injection system and crank it up some more in the fall/winter.

It was a little uneasy revving that high. I have dual valve springs and not the beehive, but it went smooth.
It was tuned on pump 91oct. and methanol.

As for the track, I'm curious too. But I'm having a bit of boost leak I want to track down, also something's wrong with the tial v44 wastegate. And the clutch is also at its limit. I'll get these issue sorted hopefully before the season end.

Always things popping up that need attention with that much power!

Update: car is in the garage with the head off the block
for new timing component and to address some minor
issues, while the head’s off I’m switching to 3g lifters and
kiggly beehives valve springs.
Before I parked it, I did some testing for boost leaks. Or what
I thought was boost leaks. Turn out it was the greddy profec II
boost controller’s head unit not pulsing the solenoid consistently.
So all that time the car was ran on wastegate pressure than creeped
to 34~35 psi by 9000rpm. Hooked up a MBC and confirmed it.
With the MBC full boost (36psi)came on at 5500~rpm and hold
steady to redline. It was insane how much harder it hits.
With that sorted, I picked up the new greddy profec boost controller
and the JMF billet drag manifold to tryout. Finally got some time off
work to mess with the car again. Hopefully I can button her up and
have her tune in a month or so.
