Can anyone direct me 2 warning light descriptions?

Symptoms:
A yellow warning light turns on at times when running engine.

Car stumbles when starting. Starter was just replaced last year.

Notes:
Just got T-belt & balance shafts replaced last month.

After reading a few articles, i convinced my novice self this is alternator problem.

Will get batt checked at CDN tire tomorrow.

Q:
Could it be possible shop removed alt belt for T-belt job then screwed it up after reinstallation? or my alternator naturally went (if this is the problem at all).

If you look closer at the roman building you'll see it actually looks like a radiator 8)

I had that light come on years ago, and It went away after I filled my coolant.

although it sounds like you have 2 unrelated problems.... does the light only come on around corners?

ahhh coolant! shame on me.

its on even on straight runs.

im guessing that means my coolant is really low.

ill try topping it up. light just came on a couple of days ago or so. might the hot weather.

Ahh, the infamouse 'bird cage'

There's a sensor at the bottom of the overflow bottle that tells you whether you have fluid in there or not.  Definitely check your coolant levels and make sure you top up your overflow.

added coolant as per suggestion - bird cage indicator light doesnt light up anymore.

sensor must not be at very bottom, coz i still had some coolant left in it before topping up (while engine was cold).

or does the coolant in overflow tank gets sucked in the cooling system when engine is running?

Sometimes, it depends. Sometimes when you stop the car the motor will puke coolant back into the bottle
