J-pipe Question
« on: November 10, 2006, 09:06:57 pm »
Would a J-pipe that bolted up to a Frank 3 Turbo also bolt up to a 14b? I can't find anything saying that it will or won't
Thanks

the Frank series has a downward facing outlet correct?

and 14b-16g turbos have an upwards angled facing outlet pipe.

Correct me if i am wrong but don't the Frank 3 turbos use a 20G housing with a Garrett wheel? Now if thats the case would that J-pipe still bolt to a 14b?  I am not sure of the dimensions of a 20G.

if its a 20g housing, it faces down.  14b-16g housings face like stock, upwards and angled towards passenger side.

Plus stock turbos use a 2bolt flange whereas 20g uses a straight tube that you can fit a coupler over.
