I bet that injector was stuck open.

I would pull all of them and send them to a place like Valley Fuel injection and have them sonically cleaned.
Just tried again now and unplugging that injector didn't do anything this time. I had someone watching though and it puts out a lot of black smoke when it does this so I'm thinking it's either:

-Too much fuel
-Weak spark
-Low compression under high temperatures

Or possibly a combination of some of those.

Yeah, that's probably a good idea.

Once again may be a fluke but I got it up to temperature, drove the hell out of it enough to cause the issue and instead of turning it off with the key, I unplugged the fuse from my fuel pump rewire and let it run on whatever gas was left in the rail. Plugged it back in, and it started right up. I'm definitely thinking it's a leaky injector(s). I've also noticed that the car will backfire occasionally. I really need to get a wideband on there and see what kind of AFR's I'm running.

Edit: Nevermind. Once again it was just a fluke. I think I'm just going to get my Jeep running and take the Talon off the road while I build a new motor.

But bailing in puddles of oil and water is so much fun!

So I'm guessing no go with the coolant temp sensor?
That's the one you meant right?
